Data Analyst - forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Greenridge Junction Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Virginia Beach. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on payment disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
