Data Analyst - forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Silverline Nest Staffing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for client orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in client orders and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on candidate screening. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
