Data Analyst - forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Greenridge North Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Virginia Beach plant. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in work orders and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer orders.
