Data Analyst - forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Silverline Granite Staffing places workers with employers around Virginia Beach. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in candidate screening and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on client orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
