Data Analyst - forecasting (Toledo, OH)

Lumen Juniper Civic Services supports public agencies in Toledo with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in case files and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on constituent requests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
