Data Analyst - forecasting (Toledo, OH)

Redstone Harbor Transit Planning Group helps transport agencies around Toledo design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 534 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in survey data and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on service alerts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
