Data Analyst - forecasting (Toledo, OH)

Summit Meridian Foods Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for production batches, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in production batches and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
