Data Analyst - forecasting (Toledo, OH)

Northwind Vale Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Toledo plant, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on production lines. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
