Data Analyst - forecasting (Tampa, FL)

Lumen Umber Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Tampa with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in landfill records and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
