Data Analyst - forecasting (Tampa, FL)

Nova Yarrow Civic Services works with county and city offices around Tampa. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 53 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in public records and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on case files. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
