Data Analyst - forecasting (Tampa, FL)

Silverline Umber Arts Center is an arts centre in Tampa with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in ticketing and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on event logistics. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
