Data Analyst - forecasting (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Thistle Water Authority and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in water quality and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on meter reading. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
