Data Analyst - forecasting (Tampa, FL)

Amberfield Sparrow Environmental Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for weigh tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 269 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in weigh tickets and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on service complaints. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
