Data Analyst - forecasting (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Bright Ember Learning Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 93 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in enrolment and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on attendance records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
