Data Analyst - forecasting (St. Louis, MO)

Summit Maple Community Partners runs community programmes across St. Louis. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 795 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in donor records and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on volunteer shifts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
