Data Analyst - forecasting (St. Louis, MO)

Ironwood Union Civic Services supports public agencies in St. Louis with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in public records and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on case files. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
