Data Analyst - forecasting (St. Louis, MO)

Foxglove Vista Markets serves neighbourhoods around St. Louis with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Investigate trends in online orders and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on shrink and waste. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
