Data Analyst - forecasting (Seattle, WA)

Harborlight Bright Water Authority Group supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Seattle and nearby communities, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in treatment plant data and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
