Data Analyst - forecasting (Savannah, GA)

Clearpath Kestrel Financial Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for vendor spend, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in vendor spend and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on account servicing. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
