Data Analyst - forecasting (San Diego, CA)

Bluepeak Haven Learning Group is an education provider in San Diego serving students and families. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in family communication and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on student accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
