Data Analyst - forecasting (San Diego, CA)

Bluepeak Summit Pharma Group is a pharmaceutical company in San Diego producing generic and specialty treatments, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in release testing and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on cleanroom operations. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
