Data Analyst - forecasting (San Diego, CA)

Ironwood Ashton Hospitality Group operates hotels and event venues around San Diego. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 152 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
