Data Analyst - forecasting (San Diego, CA)

Greenridge Quarry Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near San Diego. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on packing house output. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
