Data Analyst - forecasting (San Diego, CA)

Lumen Stone Telecom Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for network equipment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 955 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in network equipment and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on service installations. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
