Data Analyst - forecasting (San Antonio, TX)

Cedar Quarry Environmental Services Associates is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for landfill records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on weigh tickets. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
