Data Analyst - forecasting (San Antonio, TX)

Silverline Willow Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its San Antonio plant, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Investigate trends in machine downtime and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on tooling. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
