Data Analyst - forecasting (San Antonio, TX)

Fernwood Field Markets is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in online orders and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on shrink and waste.
