Data Analyst - forecasting (San Antonio, TX)

Westbrook Yarrow Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in San Antonio. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 590 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in allergen controls and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on production batches. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
