Data Analyst - forecasting (San Antonio, TX)

Summit Union Hospitality is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for supplier orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 200 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in supplier orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on housekeeping schedules. • Python or R for analysis.
