Data Analyst - forecasting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Lumen Umber Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Salt Lake City presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in volunteer programmes and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on exhibitions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
