Data Analyst - forecasting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Highbridge Lakeside Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Salt Lake City, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Investigate trends in collection routes and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on recycling loads. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
