Data Analyst - forecasting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Silverline Vale Financial serves customers across Salt Lake City with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on loan applications. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
