Data Analyst - forecasting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Bluepeak Junction Financial Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for customer onboarding, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in customer onboarding and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on regulatory reports. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
