Data Analyst - forecasting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Cedar Vista Financial is a financial-services company in Salt Lake City, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in regulatory reports and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on account servicing. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
