Data Analyst - forecasting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Bluepeak Juniper Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Salt Lake City, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in card disputes and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on account openings. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
