Data Analyst - forecasting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Northwind Oak Banking Services is a regional lender in Salt Lake City with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in fraud alerts and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on loan files. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
