Data Analyst - forecasting (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Drift Inspection Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in equipment calibration and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on client sites. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
