Data Analyst - forecasting (Sacramento, CA)

Foxglove Birch Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Sacramento with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in service complaints and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on fleet maintenance. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
