Data Analyst - forecasting (Sacramento, CA)

Clearpath Amber Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Sacramento. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Housing is our mission and residents are our neighbours. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in resident services and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on rent assistance. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
