Data Analyst - forecasting (Sacramento, CA)

Greenridge Juniper Hospitality is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for food costs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Guests remember kindness. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in food costs and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on reviews and feedback.
