Data Analyst - forecasting (Sacramento, CA)

Clearpath Rook Financial Group is a financial-services company in Sacramento. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 65 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in payment disputes and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on account servicing. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
