Data Analyst - forecasting (Sacramento, CA)

Amberfield Summit Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Sacramento, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 943 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in student accounts and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on learning materials. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
