Data Analyst - forecasting (Sacramento, CA)

Rivermark Wilder Early Learning runs childcare centres in Sacramento caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in classroom supplies and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on family communication. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
