Data Analyst - forecasting (Rochester, NY)

Rivermark Wilder Insurance Partners sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Rochester. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 79 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer complaints. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
