Data Analyst - forecasting (Richmond, VA)

Nova Works is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for promotions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in promotions and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
