Data Analyst - forecasting (Richmond, VA)

Fernwood Amber Property Management Group looks after rental homes across the Richmond area. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Residents are neighbours, not numbers. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in resident events and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on maintenance requests. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
