Data Analyst - forecasting (Richmond, VA)

Silverline Lakeside Farms Partners grows and distributes produce from farms near Richmond. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Investigate trends in harvest schedules and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on packing house output. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
