Data Analyst - forecasting (Richmond, VA)

Greenridge Fox Auto Group is a Richmond company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in customer estimates and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on warranty claims. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
