Data Analyst - forecasting (Richmond, VA)

Foxglove Loom Construction is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in materials orders and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on safety records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
