Data Analyst - forecasting (Reno, NV)

Greenridge Harbor Energy is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in outage response and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
